Canada Organic

BCI takes pride in being the only Brazilian certifier to offer certification for the Canadian Organic Regime (COR).

All products sold in Canada, labeled as organic and displaying the Canadian organic logo, must be certified by an accredited certification body or one operating under a national system recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as equivalent.

According to the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), products must be certified organic according to Canadian Organic Standards.

Additionally, BCI offers certification under the United States-Canada Organic Equivalency Arrangement (USCOEA). This equivalence recognizes both the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) standards and COR standards as equivalent. Therefore, operations certified by COR can export to the United States, and operations certified by NOP can export to Canada through USCOEA.
